i decided to write an episode for the Firefly series (a shortlived scifi series that was exceptionally good). here goes...


Jayne is cleaning his shotgun in his cabin... he has half his collection spread in front of him .. intense concentration and love.

Kaylee and River are playing cards in the lounge chairs... giggling wickedly.

Book is watching Capn Malcolm charting a route... and drinking something from a steaming mug.

Zoe is in her cabin searching through files... and finding one of interest.

Simon and Inara are in the medical room discussing ... the subtleties of variations among people of the central worlds.

Wash calls Capn Malcolm on the PA system...something popped up on radar..

theres a derelict ship at the edge of the radar without a distress beacon and too far to scan for life.. change direction to explore?

Sure. Mal calls Jayne and Zoe to prepare for boarding.

in another 5 minutes life scanners pick up two signals. one human and a lesser form.

the entire crew tries to find signs of Reaver attack on the outside.

Jayne walks outside before docking to inspect the docking point and airlock for Reaver technology.

Serenity hooks on to the Paladin and the three board it with weapons ready...

a quick check of the ship reveals a young boy about ten clutching a small toy and a caged wombat...

no one else on the ship and the boy doesn't respond...

Dr. Tan declares that the kid is in shock and applies an IV drip... and carries him back to Serenity.

Cuts to Intro Sequence... Take my love...


Well? whaddya think so far?? will continue tomorrow. inputs welcomed. not in bits. but in chunks...

do u need to learn music to appreciate it better?

music appreciation is a skill possessed by 99% of humans (more or less). but they vary greatly. between ages, countries, communities, languages, everything!

imho when u play or sing a tune urself, u will be content. (unless u get pigheaded and demand perfection)

any tune will do. an old song. the latest number. something emotional
(from border, kids movies, romance, whatever chokes u up)

try to coax music out of an old pipe or pot or board/desk.
get portable music like a tiny harmonica.
and practice making music.
not copying rehman or malik.
